3.1 Divisions of Muslim Commercial Bank:
Following are the divisions of Muslim Commercial Bank.
1. Agriculture Division:
Agriculture division deals with the loans and development of agriculture sector. It has the responsibility to manage all the affairs related to Agriculture sector.
2. Audit Division:
Audit division is responsible for the inspection of financial affairs. It also keeps a check over the irregularities in different branches.
3. Business Development & Marketing Division:
This division works under the Head Office. Its main concern is to develop the business of the bank related to the introduction of new products.
4. Central Accounts Division:
Central accounts division takes care of the accounts of branches and maintains a record of the transactions that occur in different branches.
5. Corporate Affairs Division:
Corporate affairs division deals with the affairs related to public limited companies.
6. Credit Management Division:
This division has the duty to make and alter the credit rules and regulations.
7. Finance & Treasury Division:
'Finance & treasury division manages assets, income tax affairs and central excise.
8. Foreign Trade and Exchange Operation Division:
This division is responsible for managing foreign currency reserves for day-to-day requirements of the bank.
9. General Service Section:
General service section is concerned with the construction of building for branches of the bank at various localities. It is also concerned with the purchase of vehicles and other accessories for the bank.
10 Human Resource Development Division:
This division manages all the matters concerning human resource management like selection, promotion, transfer, retirement etc.
11. Information Management Division:
Information management provides all the information to the top management.
12. Industrial Credit Division:
It is concerned to advances to various industrial units.
13. International Division:
International division deals all the matters relating to branches located in foreign countries. It also manages the religious matters of Hajj and Umrah.
14. Investment Banking Group:
This division looks after the investment of bank in various schemes introduced by the bank.
15. Islamization Division:
Zia Government established islamization division. It deals with Zakat deduction, Iqra surcharge, Qarze Hasna etc.
16. Legal Affairs Division:
Legal affairs division is concerned with cases filed against the bank
17. Organizations and Method Division:
This division deals with the review of organizational structure of Muslim Commercial Bank.
18. Rupee Travelers Cheque and Credit Card Division:
This division is concerned with the issuance and management of rupee traveler’s cheque and credit cards.
19. Special Assets Management Division:
Deals with giving suggestions and new ways to recover loans.
20. Training Division:
Training division administers staff colleges and new banking techniques.
