1.2 Project Definition:
The aim of this project is to design and implement a PESCO Office Manshera that can maintain all record of employees, counsumer as well all billing system of whole district Manshera and then save it to the secure database and making its own classification based on a set of predefined metrics. Finally, the system should make it easy to save the records of the employees, its biodata, and all records.
Nowadays a wide variety of commercial computer-based systems used to guide many users in running their organizations in a good manner, helping them to select features they may recognize as important for their needs and to plan plans, stretigies and policies in order to reach an optimal satisfaction for the workers. In some cases, these systems simply used to save data, in other cases; they have to mine relevant data for a user, extracting the information requested by the user and presenting it in a synthetic and coherent way.
1.3 Objectives of the Projects:
· Our objective is to facilitate the organization to keep and manipulate the student record in an easy and effective way.
· To reduce the Time of maintaining all the record.
· To easy access and searching facility of all the PESCO record.
· Better providing information about the organizations improvement.
1.4 Broad based objectives:
As tomorrow is the age of science, technology and computer, the most primal and urgent need of today is to transfer the manual information system into tomorrow’s world information technology. This swift technology is leading towards the globalization of cultural, information, trade, industry and economy. Our project has future prospective for computerized maintenance of data and quick access of information through computerized searching system. The introduction of computer-based approach gives a high degree of versatility to our project in a world of rapidly changing technologies. The basic objective of the project is to provide ease in keeping and maintaining the record to eliminate the extensive paper work. it also reduce the consumption of time in doing all the work. One of the major objectives of developing this is to keep all the records permanent, accurate and ready to search.
1.5 Specific Objectives:
. The aim of the project is to develop an automated system for the organization, which is efficient and easy to manage for the user and acceptable for the higher authorities of the organization. It is highly computerized to meet the challenges of the 21st century. In the age of modernization, our computerized information system is useful in future for data storage, searching and provide maintenance.
We can define our specific objectives of the project as follows
· Data Security.
· Easy access to data.
· Properly Formatted Reports.
· Less Response time to user quires.
· Reduce Stationary Usage.
· Time Saving.
· Removal of Data Redundancy.
· Elimination of inconsistent Data.
· Enforcement of data storage standards.
· Preventing user from entering inaccurate data.
1.6 Feasibility Report:
After the Study of existing system and the needs of new automated system, we have found that the requirements of organization are feasible to be automated. After analyzing the user requirements, organization constraints and market, we found that the following hardware will be feasible for the new system.
1 A computer installed at the PESCO Office Manshera. The specifications of system are:
Components Specification |
System Processor Pentium II Intel 350 GHz |
Mother Board Any One |
Memory 64 MB |
Hard disk 10 GB |
Monitor 17 Inch |
Printer A Reasonable One |
Other I/O and multimedia |
|
The study of Economical structure means to investigate whether the benefits of the new computerized database system takes a major lead over its development cost, and the new database system can dominate the present setup by its reliability and efficiency. The security also plays a vital role in the working of the system. If the entire database system can satisfy all these requirements then it will be financially feasible for the organization.
After complete study of the system and a thorough discussion with the management of PESCO Office Manshera, it was decided that a computerized database system is feasible for the Organization.
