Broad Problem Area
In this we discuss informally with operation manager of UBL to analyze the problem. We made group discussion with other member of the bank about broad problem area. I why UBL have less advances loan as compared to other bank they give us no proper reason about that problem but we identified during our informal discussion that there is current problem exist in the branch that need to solved.
Another important aspect is that Mansehra is not a business area and amount of loan that UBL offer in this is not less then 10,00000. And this is a huge amount for the small business in such a area.
Preliminary data collection
In this stage we have collected certain information about UBL.those are
1. Background of UBL.
2. Information about management.
3. People perception about UBL.

These sources provide us enough data for our research work and that data help us in developing a good theoretical concept about working criteria of UBL.
