RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Objectives
1.                  To identify the socio-economic causes of child labor.
2.                  To study the attitude of parent towards child labor.
3.                  To know the impact of child labor on children families.
4.                  To study the attitude of bosses toward working children.
5.                  To evaluate the awareness on the part of child in labor regarding its repercussion.
6.                  To know the attitude of children toward the labor they are involved in.
7.                  To draw own suggestions.
Hypothesis
1.                  Poverty on the part of parent causes child labor.
2.                  Illiteracy on the part of parent results in child labor.
3.                  Absence of earning members leads towards child labor.
Scope of the study
            The scope of this respective research project is to collect the fact and actual information about the issue i.e. child labor and its stat6us as working in Mechanical workshops. In the proceeding process of this study the various important aspects of the study will be discussed in a most appropriate manner. The geographical location of the various mechanical workshops in the Mansehra city will be observed, and the dimensions, necessities will also be discussed. The social and economic aspects of the study will also be analyzed with the help of various analytical techniques and with the help of various research methodology at the end. The conclusion of the study will be drawn in the light of the foregoing process and its successful completion.

Research methodology
            The research methodology of any sort of study play an important role in the success and failure of study. This part of research consists of the following key terms i.e.
i.          Source of Data
For the collection of facts and information for the respective study, we have a number of techniques and methods for the collection of data, but for this respective study we will use the Primary data. Because this data will provide us the exact and accurate information about the study, which we will have to be studied. We will use the primary data instead of secondary data.
ii.         Research Instrument
For this respective study the following Research instruments i.e. is known as interview schedule or questionnaire will be used to achieve the required information for the study of the researcher. For this study i.e. “the status of child labor working in Mechanical workshops.” There will be prepared one comprehensive questionnaire for the children only.
iii.        Sample Size
The sample size for this respective study is 30 children form three workshops i.e. from Qasim workshop, from Jimmy workshop, from Arshad Autos in the region of Mansehra city.
Note:   (5 Children from each workshops has to be chosen for interview purposes).

iv.        Sample Line
For the purpose of the sample line distribution, the researcher himself to the respondents of the study will distribute the questionnaire. This questionnaire has been prepared in the closed ended form.
v.         Analytical Techniques
According to the quantitative results of the study, we have to use the variables known a Dummy Variables.
vi.        Time Period
The time period was proposed by the concerned teacher i.e. form September, 2004 to  November, 2004.
vii.       Universe
            The universe that is selected for the study is, 3, mechanical workshops situated in, in the region of Peshawar city.
