PANTENE (PROJECT)

RECOMMENDATIONS
PANTENE Pro-V is a quality product of P&G. It is famous all over the World for their unique packaging and taste etc. So in the existing marketing scenario, the competition become so tough that a slight relaxation will lead the company far behind in the market. In this regard I am giving some recommendations in following:
1) As we know that PANTENE is good quality brand but they follow "changing the package" strategy in packaging, which has a disadvantage that customers lose their confidence due to rapid changing of packaging.
    2) Prices of PANTENE are normal as compared to other brand competitors i.e., prices are the same, so they should give some incentives, such as prizing schemes etc.
3) In distribution of PANTENE we suggest that company should give attractive profit margins for distributors or middlemen and also give some incentives to them. It will help the company to increase their market share.
4) As P&G promotional strategy is very effective, and for PANTENE they promote through TV, magazines and other media. So I will suggest preferring reference groups in the TV ads as in other shampoo's ads they do. In this way they can capture further market share.
